Power Quality Assessments

Frontier Energy Systems' Power Quality Assessments offer a cost-effective method of identifying your facility's true inductive electrical power condition with a detailed assessment that will uncover any potential inefficiencies at the component level. Data collected is analyzed for proper corrective action to create maximum efficiency. Frontier Energy Systems' Power Quality Assessments utilize experts conducting on-site evaluation using state-of-the-art data collection software, compiling a detailed report assessing the facility's ongoing electrical operations.

Discovery Phase

Perform Preliminary Analysis of Facility to Confirm Viability of Facility Analysis and Product Installation

Site assessment including:

  • Logistics
  • Location of motors
  • Facility Access

Measure temperature of motors

Develop a detailed reading of all inductive loads as listed above to include:

  • Motor Nomenclature, Voltage, Amperage
  • KW
  • KVA
  • Power Factor
  • KVAR
  • Horse Power

Develop a Comprehensive Energy Conservation Approach

Utilizing Frontier Energy's state-of-the-art software, create detailed projections and recommendations for implementation of our conservation system including improvements on the above mentioned systems.

Rotations of motors and Motor temperatures

Develop a comprehensive forecast of future readings on:

  • Voltage
  • Amperage
  • KW
  • KVA
  • Power Factor
  • KVAR
  • Horse Power
  • Phasing

Ensure Best Practices for Your Facility

Frontier Energy Systems Facilities assessments will provide you provide with a comprehensive synopsis of the state of the facilities inductive electrical conditions. Frontier Energy Systems experts will fully review your facilities, maintenance contracts, service agreements and utility bills related to inductive loads to provide you with a solid baseline of your operations and will provide you with recommendations and solutions to mitigate outstanding risk that can impact your cold storage facility operation.

Phase III - Installation

Provide properly sized STEMS untis on motors and systems identified.

Verify Operating Conditions of Inductive Loads after installing units on:

  • Chillers
  • Pumps
  • Air Handler Units
  • Fans
  • Boiler motors

Perform detailed readings of all inductive loads treated to insure operations:

  • Motor Nomenclature, Voltage, Amperage
  • KW
  • KVA
  • Power Factor
  • KVAR
  • Horse Power
  • KWH

Perform an analysis of electric bills

  • Determine formulas the utility uses to calculate all charges

Present a final detailed report

Frontier Energy Systems will provide a comprehensive synopsis of the state of the facilities inductive electrical conditions after installation and implementation of our system. We will also provide recommendations for future operations if requested.

Installation

  • Frontier Energy will supervise installation (to be billed at time and materials-see attached rates).

Phase IV - Verification, Warranty and continued Customer Support
